We will still be collecting used eyeglasses at the district meeting and transporting them to the Lions In Sight (LIS) warehouse. Please bring the eyeglasses you collect to the meeting. PLEASE DO NOT BRING CASES. LIS is still collecting hearing aids – but not ink cartridges. ~ PDG Don Allen

Student Speakers Contest Training

Get ready for an interactive hour of learning! For our District Meeting on September 19, District Governor Steve has asked the Global Leadership Team to provide guidance on how clubs, zones, and regions can run an effective and compliant Student Speakers Contest.

We’ll cover who can participate, ideas for increasing student participation, common challenges clubs have faced when hosting a Student Speakers Contest, and several other important aspects of the contest. There will also be plenty of time at the end of the training for comments and questions.

Don’t miss this opportunity to get prepared, ask questions, and help your club create a successful Student Speakers Contest experience for local students.

For those not able to attend the district meeting, we will offer the training over Zoom later this fall. ~ Shawn Monnin, Global Leadership Team member and Zone Chair
