Lions Eye Foundation of California-Nevada, Inc. (LEF) is a nonprofit corporation formed in 1959 for the purpose of preserving and restoring the gift of sight by providing free ophthalmic examinations, operations, and medication to the less fortunate members of our community.
Clubs may become LEF members by paying a one-time application fee of $100 and $9 per member annually. Other forms of donations include: Don Stanaway Fellow ($250), Don Stanaway Life Fellow ($500), Helen Keller Fellow ($1,000), Progressive Helen Keller Ruby Fellow (1,000), Progressive Helen Keller Sapphire Fellow ($1,000), Progressive Helen Keller Diamond Fellow ($1,000), general donations, memorials, honorariums, and bequests.
